Paid surveys and market research lets real people and businesses connect to understand how to make things better.
Businesses have detailed questions that they need real people to answer. One of the ways they can reach a lot of people around the world is by compensating them for the time they take to respond. This is where paid surveys come in.

A paid survey is a win-win situation where respondents get paid for their input and companies get real inputs from real people. Respondents are key to the process of market research. We at FlashField are a team of industry veterans who want you to feel confident in your role, and have a thorough understanding of what to expect as you dive into earning through paid surveys.

Although survey-taking can be a reliable source of extra income, it’s not a way to get rich.

We want your expectations to match the payouts you receive from the surveys you take with us. You can optimize your earnings through a few simple steps, which you can find in our resource here.

You won’t qualify for every survey.

Almost all surveys have an initial screening process to determine eligibility. This generally consists of a series of questions about demographics and the use of specific products or services relevant to the survey in question. Based on your experiences, you might not be eligible to take some of the surveys that come your way. The best way to receive fewer survey invitations you might not be eligible for is to fill out your profile. This way we won’t reach out to you if you don’t meet things like the target age, gender assigned at birth, or location that the survey requires from its desired respondents.

You don’t need to pay to take a survey.

Sign-up fees, membership fees, authentication payments - these are not things a legitimate survey panel will ask of you. Please stay clear of websites that ask for any kind of payment FROM you - as a respondent, you would only receive rewards for your time.

Rewards are not instantaneous.

Our payout turnaround times are relatively quick as per industry standards, and yet payouts can still take up to 6 weeks to hit your account. This is because there are strict guidelines and procedures that must be followed for payments. We do our best to keep you posted on the status of your payout, so that you can keep a tab on what you’ll receive and when. If you are offered instant rewards by any site, do look twice at whether it is legitimate!

You can potentially be a part of multiple survey platforms.

Once you are comfortable with the process and understand what works for you, there’s no reason you can’t be part of more than one paid survey platform. Each one has something different to offer. FlashField has been designed and developed to be respondent-oriented; we put you first and offer a positive, comfortable, and reliable survey-taking experience.

Your convenience is a priority.

Take advantage of the flexibility taking surveys can offer you in order to maximize the rewards you receive. Surveys can be taken from anywhere, whenever you are free to take them. One of our aims has been to make taking a survey extremely easy for anyone interested in earning through paid surveys, so they can be taken whenever you have time to spare.

With some time and effort, paid surveys can be a regular source of extra income for many people around the world. In addition to receiving a payout, by participating in research, you would be able to contribute to significant changes and innovations of tomorrow. We would love for you to join FlashField as a respondent so that we can invite you to take part in surveys that have been vetted by us for credibility. For a deeper understanding of the frameworks in place to keep your interests at the forefront, check out our Resource on laws and compliances here.

Survey Terminology

Here are some terms that are commonly used in surveys and market research. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Let us know! contact link

Survey: a survey is a research tool that has at least one question meant for a respondent to answer. “Survey” refers to the process of conducting research using survey methodology as well as the questionnaire itself.

QRE: this is an abbreviation for the term Questionnaire.

Participants: these are the people who have been invited to answer the survey questionnaire.

Respondents: these are the people who respond to the questionnaire.

Population: the population is the target group that the survey is meant to understand more about.

Sample: the sample is a smaller group of people meant to represent the population. Data is collected from the sample.

Common Survey Myths and Misconceptions

Now that you know a bit more about what to expect, let’s tackle some misconceptions about paid surveys.

The “Online Surveys are Scams” Myth: all online surveys are a waste of time because they have ulterior motives or won’t end up paying.

There most definitely are some websites that take advantage of users by offering the promise of tempting rewards. They are only able to find an avenue to do so, however, because incentivized surveys are an incredibly useful tool used online and offline by legitimate, reputable companies in order to understand their users. No real incentivized survey program will ask you to pay a fee to participate. Don’t trust survey websites that ask for personal information like your PINs - these are likely a scam. Be sure to carefully evaluate any website you intend to join. As long as you are working with credible websites, online surveys can be a great no-hassle way to burn some time and make money.

The “You Need to be Experienced” Myth: you need to be an experienced participant to earn from online surveys.

Online surveys are one of the few easy ways to earn some additional income for people who feel they have little experience. Many companies are looking to hear real opinions from real people. A survey might ask about things like work experience or education in order to screen for a specific population or understand the respondents better, but there is no experience required to sign up and start earning from surveys.

The “It’s a Get-Rich-Quick Scheme” Myth: all paid surveys are shady investments.

Many people who don’t really know about online surveys confuse them with things like pyramid schemes or MLMs and the like. This is due to online paid surveys being an easy easy way to make money; it isn’t however a way to make large sums of money in days. Reaping the rewards of survey-taking requires consistency and time.

The “People Can Cheat the System” Myth: you can earn more from surveys if you are willing to be dishonest or click random answers.

It simply doesn’t work this way. The surveys that you take are the result of carefully considered questions that require thorough reading and thought-out answers. Answers that are inconsistent or random, or faked might get by on occasion, but they will eventually get flagged in the system resulting in a loss of payout or sometimes even a ban.

Now that you have an understanding of the basics of online paid surveys, you can get started with identifying the right websites for you to take them.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
